Terms & Conditions

Please find below a detailed layout of our terms for the services we provide. While the over-riding tenets will remain constant, for changes outside of our scope with external compliance rules and policies, these articles may be subject to change.

Any payment received for any of these services, will act as an Implied Contract and, in turn, assume acceptance of such understandings.

Domain Registration

We provide a service to clients to register domains on their behalf. Where permissible, we will supply a domain privacy option for no extra charge to mask personal details that are visible via WHOIS information requests. This is dependant upon the policy of each TLD’s governing body.

By default, the domains will be registered under our standard contact details for Registrant, Administrative, Technical and Billing entries, with the accepted acknowledgement that their ownership is nevertheless retained by the client, who can make any requests as the sole owner, which we will carried out on their behalf, during the duration of their’s domain registration under our administration. This will always be provided on an assumed agreement in good faith that we will adhere to. If there is a preference to have any of these details changed, they can carried out upon an email request from the domain owner.

Domain Hosting

Domains are hosted on our servers to faciliate email and/or website services. From the start our focus has always been on offering a reliable and secure environment. The server hardware platforms are actively monitored and have engineers present 24/7 to address any issues on-site. Our email platform has spam and malware filtering software in-place, which is highly effective in removing undesired messages before they are presented into a client’s mailbox. Websites are administered by ourselves, again with strict security measures in mind. On the rare occasion where a client would prefer access, this came be provided albeit with our oversight still in place.

Remote Support

This is for the provision of remote access support to all computers within the organisation and associated home devices. We offer a rapid response (or as prompt as is possible) for technical support, as opposed to the allocation of a booking for an on-site visit booking as well as incurring charges for the cost of travel time.

Any issues solved in a timely manner will not incur any additionally charges a part of this agreement.
As most faults are resolved in a rapid manner, this is the most likely conclusion to a remote support session. On rare occasions with faults requiring a longer duration (i.e. hours as opposed to minutes) and/or repeated remote sessions covering the same issue, charges may be applicable. This would be based on a judgement call from the incident at hand and always in deference to the client’s benefit, who would be informed at the time.

Data Backup

We offer a variety of data archiving options, both on-site and cloud-based covering Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems. Considering the diversity of requirements here, we prefer to examine each request on a case-by-case basis as opposed to a ‘one size fits all’ approach. We are happy to provide more detailed information upon a client’s request.

Billing and Payment

For each of these options, the standard term of an agreement with ourselves is for the minimum of one calendar year. One month prior to the expiration date, the client will be contacted with a renewal invoice. Cancellation of any such service must be submitted and confirmed at least one month prior to this expiration date.

Additionally any domains which have been registered on behalf of a client, but have no hosting requirement with ourselves, will be subject to an administration fee of £25 per annum.

Termination and Cancellation Policy

As previously mentioned the duration of all these services are for one calendar year. During that time, cancellation of any of them can be arranged by contacting us via the usual methods in place (email, website form, telephone.) Upon receipt of such notice, a confirmation email will be sent out and the cancellation initiated. With regards to any email, or website hosting data, it could be possible to offer an option to backup such data to a compatible file format for migration onwards. This would be charged on an ad-hoc basis after consideration of the task involved. No refund will be offered regardless of any remaining time within this period.

Failure to make payment prior to the due dead will result in suspension and termination of services. Should there be a requirement to restore said service after this time may be possible depending on the service in question. This will incur a fee which will vary depending on the item in question and the time needed to carry this out.
